Coaching
I tend to work with people who are dealing with something that they haven’t been able to work through on their own.
Whether it’s a decision about what to do next in their career, a role that isn’t quite working, or a difficult dynamic at work - the presenting ‘issue’ is often part of something bigger. That’s typically the space I work in with my clients, helping them work through what’s really going on, and decide what to do about it.
Who I work with
Within organisations
I work with leaders who have been recently promoted or are responsible for delivering change.
These roles come with competing priorities, stakeholder pressure and expectations to deliver, even when direction isn’t fully clear.
The focus tends to be on specific leadership situations related to decision-making, managing stakeholder dynamics and influence. I work with leaders to clarify their thinking, understand what is driving the situation, and determine a way forward.
Privately 1-1
I work privately with individuals at mid-career transition points.
This is often when people feel like something has shifted - in their role, their priorities, or how they feel about the path they’re on, but the next step is not immediately clear to them.
These situations often involve difficult trade-offs. Career direction, financial stability, family commitments and personal priorities don’t always align. It’s common to feel stuck, second-guess decisions, or just continue on because it’s difficult to step back and work through it properly. This is where coaching comes in.
How it works
Coaching usually starts with an initial conversation to understand what you’re dealing with and whether it would be useful to work together.
If we decide to continue, sessions are typically held every 2–3 weeks and focus on a specific situation or issue you want to work through.
Some people come for a small number of sessions to work through something defined, while others continue over a longer period as their situation evolves. Once I have a sense of what you’re working on, I can give some advice on how many sessions you might need to reach the outcomes you’re looking to achieve.
